| So I know I've not updated in... forever so here's what's been going on with me:
- New Years with Dan @ the Weathers house (got drunk)
- New major (voice) and I love it!!!
- Classes are good
- Valentine's day, Dan and I went to see the Atlanta ballet do Peter and the Wolf
- I got sick with bronchitis and sinusitis
- Dan and I started looking at promise rings
- I realized that I don't want to be that serious
- Did hurricane relief work in Mosspoint, Mississippi.
- Dan and I start taking a break when I get back
- Lots of drama, chaos and general unrest
- I had a vocal scholarship audition
- Had english research paper
- Had Western Civ 102 library project (ick!)
- Dan and I broke up officially
- Had Wind Ensemble and Chamber Orchestra concerts
And that's about all that's been going on as of the past 4 months... I'll post again soon... promise.

| I've decided a few things:
- I'm not ready to get married, nor will I any time soon
- I'm also not ready to have kids or to settle down
- I want to write my own music
- I want to sing on a stage and not be afraid of someone's reaction
- I want to learn to play guitar
- I want to travel any-and every-where
- I really am grateful for the life I lead, the friends I have, the talents I can call my own. I really do love life... I just need to get out there more often and LIVE IT! I need to regain my spontaneity... that's kinda died recently. I want to drive to the beach, I want to stand at the top of a mountain and feel the wind in my hair, I want to fly to far off lands. I want to live my life, and lately, even given the opportunity, I haven't. I need to stop being a pansy and just GO!
I think I found my New Year's resolution. It's not to loose weight, it's not to get good grades (though both would be nice)... it's to get out there and live life like it was meant to be lived instead of sitting on my ass in my dorm room every night. Yeah, I have to practice, but I also have to live...and I plan to!

| Wow, so it's been entirely too long since I updated this! I'm doing well in J-ville and I like all of my classes. I am however changing my major. Now all of you that just screamed "WHAT!?", stop freaking out. I'm changing my applied from French Horn to voice. I had a revelation this weekend and I know what I want to do. I want to teach little kids (like kindergarten and 1st graders) and learning disabled kids. I know it won't be easy, but it could be SOOO rewarding. I told my applied instructor today (I was afraid of doing this) and he wasn't mad, he was actually very helpful! I'm so excited I'm going to get to do what I love (sing that is), and share it with the future of our nation! Anyways, I'ma go practice my piano midterm. I'll update on how the applied change is going (I won't actually be able to change until next semester and I have to keep my band scholarship). Hope everything is going well with all of you! | God, I don't know what to do. I can't stand seeing her like this anymore! I don't know what to do....I'm only 18! What am I supposed to do!? I can't let her sell her ring... her wedding band! I can't let her do it, but what other choice is there? How am I going to have a job this semester? I want to help... but what is there that I can do? I don't have anything worth selling that I can afford to sell. My family needs help... and I don't know how to get it. I'm too tired to keep crying... it doesn't get anything done.
